Warranty Information
Important Note
This warranty is provided by careOmatic (hereinafter referred to as “we” or “us”) in addition to other rights and remedies that you may have under the Australian Consumer Law. If there is an inconsistency between this warranty and the Australian Consumer Law, the Australian Consumer Law shall prevail.
Australian Consumer Law
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and for compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure. Warranty Period
We warrant our products against defects in materials or manufacture under ordinary consumer use for 90 days from the date of original retail purchase. The warranty period may vary depending on the manufacturer and type of product. Please check the warranty information on the product’s page or user’s manual. The warranty period will not be renewed or extended for a replacement or repaired product.
Warranty Exclusions
- This warranty is not transferrable and is only offered to the original buyer/consumer of the product.
- This warranty will not apply to products purchased from outside Australia or from an unauthorised seller.
- This warranty will not apply to a defect due to accident, misuse, neglect, fire or damage from other external causes, alteration, repair, or commercial use.
- This warranty is not for the products damaged during delivery. If your product is damaged on arrival, you must contact us immediately for a replacement or a refund.
Warranty Claim
If the product is defective in manufacture or materials during this warranty period, contact us for specific instructions for obtaining warranty service for your product. In general, you will need to return the product to the address we specified. We will, at our option, repair or replace the product with a new or refurbished product or issue you a refund for all or part of the product’s purchase price.
Cost of Submitting a Warranty Claim
You will not be charged for any costs associated with your warranty claim or obtaining warranty service for your product. If the product needs to be returned for your claim, you are responsible for organising the product to be returned to us in either original or equally protective packaging. We will refund the reasonable costs of shipping for the returned product.
We will not pay any shipping cost for the invalid claims.
Response Time
We will respond to your claim within 1-3 business days to provide you with specific instructions for obtaining warranty service for your product. If the product is required to be returned, we will inspect your returned product as soon as we receive it. If your claim has been approved, we will repair or replace the product with a new or refurbished product or issue you a refund within ten business days of receiving the returned product or the warranty claim.
Privacy
We will need your personal information to process your claim under this warranty. If you do not wish to provide us with your personal information, we may be unable to process your claim. We are committed to protecting the privacy of personal information. We will act in compliance with applicable privacy laws, including the National Privacy Principles under the Australian Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) (as amended).
